Mayor
March 2007-March 2008

Thank you for visiting the City of Covina web site and for learning a little more about your city council. I am honored to have been elected and am enjoying serving the citizens of our wonderful community. Covina is an amazing city filled with caring citizens, volunteers and business people, working to improve our community. We are truly blessed to have so many interested and dedicated individuals in Covina.

Covina is at an opportune crossroads which will help shape and determine the health and vitality of our community for decades to come. I am dedicated to working with my colleagues to maximize our redevelopment efforts through-out our city, while maintaining the charm that makes Covina so special. I am also committed to supporting and working with our public safety professionals to address any issues that will hinder our quality of life in any way. We must be willing to stand tall in the face of anyone that would seek to turn our community away from the positive and historic direction we work to maintain.

I encourage you to become involved and to make a difference in the very place that you live. Get involved in or start a neighborhood watch group. Join one of the many volunteer projects that are taking place through-out our community. Come to city council meetings and comment on the important issues that face us. Volunteer at our library or senior center to help enrich the lives of others.

Thank you once again for your confidence and for giving me the opportunity to serve you. Please call our city council offices at any time at (626) 384-5410 to leave a message for me or any one of my colleagues on council if I can ever be of service.
