Mission Statement
The mission of the Engineering Section is to ensure quality design, oversight, construction, and renovation of the City’s infrastructure to secure a high quality of life for Covina’s residents, businesses and visitors.
Activities
- Issuing permits for projects affecting the public right-of-way.
- Inspecting non-City projects that affect the public right-of-way.
- Providing information to the public about future improvements.
- Providing information regarding flood mapping, aerial photography, property lines and lot dimensions as well as parkway widths, centerline ties, etc.
- Designing City street and sidewalk improvements and establishing the plans and specifications for City Capital Improvement Projects.
