HILARIOUS HALLOWEEN HAUNT – PUPPET SHOW
Franklin Haynes Marionettes presents a funny, friendly Halloween variety puppet show to delight all ages. This show is not scary and features a host of goofy, ghoulish characters. Children will laugh and have a great time in this special Halloween extravaganza.

THE WORLD FAMOUS BUSTER BALLOON SHOW
A human cartoon character! Wild and Wacky side splitting comedy, mind boggling, magic and balloon galore!

 FAMILY COOKIE HOUSE DECORATING PARTY
Just in time for the holidays! Make the perfect cookie house centerpiece for your holiday table! Join us for the 1st Annual Family Cookie House Decorating Party. Families will enjoy working together to make the best cookie house! Cookie houses will be judged, with trophies and prizes awarded to all families participating. The event will include pizza and drinks to enjoy while making your fabulous creations! The evening will conclude with a special visit from Santa Claus. All cookie house supplies will be provided. Families may bring additional supplies to add to their creation, if desired. Pre-registration is required.  Call the Parks & Recreation Department at (626) 384-5340 to register.

CHILDREN’S COOKIE HOUSE EVENT WITH VISIT FROM SANTA
Santa will join us once again for this annual event! Children will make wonderful cookie houses that include the use of royal icing and vibrantly colored candies. Then it’s off to see Santa Claus (parents…please bring your cameras). Preregistration is required. Limited to the first 100 children. Recommended for ages 5-12. Parent supervision is required at all times during the event. Last year’s event sold out in one day, so register early!  Call the Parks & Recreation Department at (626) 384-5340 to register.

The Moving Wall - Vietnam Veterans Memorial PDF Print E-mail

The Moving Wall is returning to Covina for its 30th Anniversary, and will be at Covina Park, October 23-27.  The Wall will be open for viewing 24 hours a day.

 PARADE APPLICATIONS 

Parade applications are currently being accepted!

The entry deadline is Thursday, October 16.

 

PARADE ROUTE:  

The Parade officially begins at Citrus Avenue & Badillo Street, travels west on Badillo Street to Hollenbeck Avenue, turns south on Hollenbeck Avenue to Puente Street.

STREET CLOSURE INFORMATION

The streets around the Parade route close to vehicular traffic beginning at 4:30 p.m. on Parade day.  Please click here for map and resident access information.  For 2014, due to construction at District Field on Puente Street, there may be changes to street closure information.  The City will provide that information as soon as it is confirmed.

For Parade status, please call (626) 384-5400, extension 5903.  In the event of inclement weather on Parade day, a cancellation decision would be made by 1 p.m. and information posted on the Parade Information Line, as well as on this webpage.
