CALIFORNIA OF THE PAST -- DIGITAL STORYTELLING DAY & TIME: Wednesdays, 5-7 pm by appointment only! LOCATION: Library, Literacy Area (upstairs) FEE: Free
Preserve Covina History and Share Your Story with the World! Your recorded story will be archived at the Covina Library, uploaded to the “California of the Past” website, www.digitalstorystation.com, and you’ll also receive your own DVD copy to take home.

Rule Britannia! – April 26--Cancelled
After we celebrate our great country, let’s cross the pond to our Mother Country. From the ancient ballads of seafarers and Beowulf to the Beatles, we have always celebrated our musical English heritage. Along the way we could meet Barbara Allen, Britannia, Mabel and Gertrude Lawrence. Join us as the sun never sets on a good British song.
To Infinity and Beyond – June 28 Let’s really take a trip all the way to outer space. We shall celebrate the sun, the moon, the planets and maybe even stop by Gallifrey. This celestial trip through the cosmos will have you wishing on a star, sighing for the blue moon and going where no one has gone before. |
