The two center lanes of Hollenbeck Avenue south of Arrow Highway and north of Covina Boulevard (in the vicinity of Hollenbeck Park) will be closed 24 hours a day from Monday, February 2nd through Friday, February 6th for a Southern California Gas Company project.  Please be informed that traffic will be congested and plan alternate routes.

2015 Wall of Honor Nominations PDF Print E-mail


On April 5, 2005, the Covina City Council adopted a Community Recognition policy. This policy governs various forms of recognizing individuals and organizations, including the process to include names on the Covina Wall of Honor, which was dedicated in 2005 and is located at Covina Park. The Wall of Honor is a permanent honor, consisting of a marker describing the honoree's accomplishments written on a plaque that is mounted to the wall. To nominate an individual, please complete form below.

Nominations accepted until 5:45 PM on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at the Parks & Recreation Department Office, 1250 N. Hollenbeck Ave, Covina.

Winter Shelter Schedule 2014-2015 PDF Print E-mail

Selected community non-profit homeless services providers will provide temporary nightly shelter to homeless persons in Los Angeles County. Those in need of emergency shelter are encouraged to go directly to one of the listed pick-up points for free transportation, rather than the site address, unless otherwise indicated. Most shelters will open at approximately 6:00 PM.
